Al-Awsat Distribution is seeking a qualified candidate to join its Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure team.
About The Role
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist responsible for supporting the stability, security, and performance of Al-Awsat's IT infrastructure, located at the HQ Dubai.
This role involves managing user devices, assisting with network and VPN operations, enforcing endpoint and mobile device policies (MDM/Intune), and supporting data backup procedures to ensure security compliance.
Responsibilities
- **Technical Support & Operations:**
- Provide first-line troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues (network outages, VPN failures, hardware connectivity).
- **Device & Security Management:**
- Configure and enforce user and device policies within the MDM/Intune platform and assist in managing the EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solution.
- **Data Operations:**
- Execute backup tasks, validate completion logs, and ensure the availability of restore points.
- **Asset Management:**
- Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware and ensure the IT asset register is consistently updated.
- **Employee Provisioning:**
- Handle day-to-day tasks such as new employee account setup, email configuration, and device handover/offboarding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years in IT infrastructure or technical support roles.
- Basic understanding of network concepts (LAN, VPN), endpoint security principles, Microsoft Intune or MDM environments, and data protection awareness.
- Experience with MDM/Intune operation, EDR tools (basic setup), Windows OS, Office 365, and VPN client configuration.
Preferred Skills
- Arabic – Very Good preferable.
- English – Very Good proficiency is required.
