Role Description
Part-time remote role overseeing the community's IT environment and digital presence.
Responsible for platform IT operations, secure access to resources, integrations, and tools supporting QA content and job updates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update IT strategies supporting community growth.
- Monitor network security and data protection measures.
- Collaborate with volunteer contributors on technical improvements.
- Evaluate technologies, troubleshoot platform issues, and document IT processes.
- Align technology use with the community's nonprofit knowledge-sharing mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated IT management and IT operations experience.
- Foundation in information technology and familiarity with online community platforms, tools, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in network security, access control, data protection, and monitoring systems.
- Experience developing and executing IT strategy.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, independent work, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with online communities, nonprofits, or content-driven technology leadership is beneficial.
- Relevant information technology, computer science, or related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
