Role Description
The Information Technology Director will lead the overall technology vision, governance, and infrastructure supporting PROPULSA COMUNICACION SL’s marketing and advertising operations.
This part-time, remote role involves overseeing IT management and operations, including systems administration, application support, and vendor coordination.
The person in this position will design and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals, optimize cloud and on-premise environments, and ensure reliable, secure connectivity for distributed teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing network security controls, monitoring performance, troubleshooting incidents, maintaining documentation, and guiding the adoption of new tools that enhance productivity and collaboration.
The Information Technology Director will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to plan technology budgets, manage projects, and support compliance with relevant data protection and cybersecurity standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, including planning, implementation, and oversight of technology environments.
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, with experience managing enterprise systems, cloud services, and end-user support in a distributed setting.
- Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and supports marketing and advertising workflows.
- Practical knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, access controls, encryption, and security monitoring tools.
- Experience leading IT projects, coordinating vendors, and managing technology budgets in small to mid-sized organizations.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, collaboration tools, and CRM or campaign management systems is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a part-time, remote context.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or network/security certifications) are a plus.
