Role Description
The Information Technology Director is responsible for the company’s overall IT vision, strategy, and operations.
The role manages IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure reliability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT planning and budgeting.
- Direct IT operations and advise on technology investments.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
- Oversee network security practices, risk management, and compliance.
- Guide IT staff or external partners in maintaining secure and efficient systems.
Qualifications
- Strong background in IT management and IT operations, including experience overseeing technology teams or projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of information technology concepts, systems, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in network security, including secure configurations, monitoring, and incident response.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with cloud services, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards is highly beneficial.
