Information Technology Director

This part-time remote Information Technology Director role at STL Soudure Tuyauterie Leblon is responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall IT environment and strategy.

The role includes managing day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable systems performance, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support business objectives.

The Information Technology Director will establish and maintain IT policies, oversee security and compliance practices, and lead the planning and execution of technology initiatives.

This position will also monitor network security, manage risk, and ensure robust backup and recovery processes.

The role involves budgeting for IT resources, evaluating new technologies, and providing guidance to any IT staff or contractors to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable IT solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in a senior IT leadership role, ideally within small or mid-sized industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Experience with cloud services, cybersecurity best practices, and vendor management is highly beneficial.
