Desirable Qualifications

• 1). Advanced AWS Security Experience: hands-on experience implementing AWS security services such as IAM, AWS Organizations, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, WAF, and Config; ability to architect secure, scalable cloud environments aligned with best practices (NIST, CIS, AWS Well-Architected Framework). 2). Strong Identity and Access Management Expertise: experience designing and enforcing least-privilege access models; familiarity with federation, SSO, MFA enforcement, and identity lifecycle automation. 3). Knowledge of Compliance and Governance Frameworks: experience supporting audits or compliance standards such as FedRAMP, PCI, CJIS, NIST 800-53, or CIS benchmarks; ability to design AWS controls to meet state or federal requirements. 4). Automation and Scripting Skills: ability to develop automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline security operations, patching, monitoring, or remediation activities. 5). Network and Application Security Concepts: understanding of VPC design, subnet segmentation, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, VPNs, and load balancers; familiarity with WAF, Shield, API Gateway security, and zero-trust principles. 6). Experience With Enterprise Logging and SIEM Integrations: ability to centralize AWS logs into tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, or QRadar; understanding of log retention and evidence preservation requirements. 7). Strong Documentation and Communication Skills: ability to write clear security standards, diagrams, runbooks, and architectural documentation; proven skill in presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
