Planning and coordinating IT security programs and policies across assigned information systems
Managing and controlling system changes and assessing their security impact
Supporting the certification and accreditation (C&A) process in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies
Maintaining operational security posture and performing day-to-day security operations
Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information
Administering user identification and authentication mechanisms for assigned Information Systems (IS)
Maintaining records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, and other infrastructure, including system upgrades
Providing configuration management (CM) for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware
Supporting senior ISSOs with implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of security documentation
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Experience in at least one of the following: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques/tools
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Systems Technical (IAT), Level 1 or higher
Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals
Experience with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171
Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance, OR the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access
