The opportunity
CACI is seeking a technically proficient Information Systems Security Engineer to support the security posture of network infrastructure.
The role integrates security throughout the system lifecycle, from design through operation, while supporting customer missions.
Responsibilities
- Support secure architecture design, documentation, and security requirements definition.
- Execute RMF Steps 1–6 and support systems through categorization and Authorization to Operate.
- Maintain SSP, SCTM, BoE, and other Assessment and Authorization documentation.
- Integrate Zero Trust Architecture, SDN, segmentation, and software-defined perimeter controls.
- Perform design reviews, compliance implementation, continuous monitoring, risk assessments, and security audits.
- Use Nessus and SCAP to identify, track, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response, on-call security incidents, network mapping, and system interdependency analysis.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of related work experience with demonstrated ISSE or ISSO responsibilities.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
