Role purpose
Manage and develop the information security management function.
Align the function with UAE Information Assurance Standards and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage enterprise-wide information security policies, plans, and procedures.
- Review and upgrade security policies in line with Abu Dhabi Government guidelines and technology trends.
- Monitor policy compliance and take action based on Information Security Committee directions.
- Evaluate existing systems and respond to internet-wide security threats affecting local systems.
- Coordinate information security risk assessments and risk mitigation with the Risk Manager.
- Communicate and escalate information security matters to the Chief Information Security Officer.
- Prepare service continuity policies and processes and monitor service continuity plan implementation.
- Deliver information security awareness, training, and communications across EAD.
- Ensure EAD contracts include relevant information security policy clauses.
Educational qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, or a related specialization.
Experience required
- The role requires 8 to 15 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Four years of experience in a managerial position is recommended.
Regulatory knowledge
- Work is aligned with UAE Information Assurance Standards and Abu Dhabi Government guidelines and regulations.
