Responsibilities
- Work closely with the designated IT team to assist with departmental projects.
- Performs PC troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve common problems.
- Setup and install PCs and required software.
- Provides assistance to IT teams to resolve or assist in the resolution of problems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Utilizes new improvements and/or technologies that relate to job assignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum education required - one or more of the following:
- High school graduate and/or GED equivalent.
- Current or previous enrollment in Genesee Career Institute Information Technology program or similar career preparatory academy.
- Graduated or current enrollment in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.
- Current industry recognized certification such as Comptia A+, Security+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, or similar.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current Windows OS and PC troubleshooting procedures.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to communicate in a business appropriate way verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with Medical Center staff, physicians, and the general public.
