Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, maintain, and optimize industrial automation and control systems.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and related platforms.
• Develop and modify control logic, sequences, alarms, interlocks, and automation functions.
• Monitor system performance and identify automation, process, digitalization, and productivity improvements.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, control, communication, hardware, software, and integration issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support commissioning, testing, validation, upgrades, modernization, and deployment.
• Integrate automation with production equipment, sensors, instrumentation, databases, MES, ERP, and business systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols.
• Develop system documentation, diagrams, configuration records, procedures, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production, IT, and external vendors.
• Support maintenance programs, cybersecurity initiatives, system recovery, training, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial automation, control systems, electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with a relevant PLC platform such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Omron, or a similar system.
• Strong understanding of automation programming, control logic, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of an industrial communication protocol such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC, or a similar technology.
• Experience troubleshooting automation hardware, software, networks, and system integrations.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, upgrades, and automation improvement projects.
• Knowledge of industrial networking, databases, MES, ERP, or production systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity and OT security is preferred.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work in industrial environments and respond to critical technical issues.
• A relevant engineering degree or diploma is preferred; relevant certifications are advantageous.
