Individual Learning Assistant (Part Time)

Position Duties

• Customer Service Provide subject matter support to learners as well as general study skills Serve as a mentor and role model for learners Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Refer learners to appropriate resources and support services as needed Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and participation. Provide one-on-one assistance to learners struggling with course concepts. Answer learner questions and clarify course content. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Regular and consistent attendance at work Exhibit a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Attention to detail and strong time management and organizational skills Willing to learn and adapt to new policies, programs, and technological innovations Be able and willing to represent the college positively with prospective, former, and current learners, clients, and the community we serve. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• The position involves sitting often in an office setting (frequently 34-66%). Constant (67-100%) talking and listening to people in person, viewing a computer screen, and other types of close visual work. Occasional (10-33%) stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Frequent (34-66%) walking, grasping and repetitive motion.

Other Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
