Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Develop and standardize menu items ensuring consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
- Prepare curries, tandoori items, biryanis, breads, appetizers, desserts, and regional Indian specialties
- Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen procedures
- Manage inventory of ingredients, spices, and kitchen supplies; place orders and minimize wastage
- Control food costs through proper portioning, storage, and stock management
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus, special dishes, and promotional offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas

Job Responsibilities – South Indian Cuisine Chef
