Join the Global Technology Platforms (GTP) team at IDC, where you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable platforms that support Walmart’s developer community. What you'll do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable distributed systems that deliver reliable and impactful platform capabilities.
Design, build, test, and deploy distributed microservices using CI/CD and event-driven architectures.
Develop automation tools, monitoring solutions, and operational metrics to improve reliability and reduce costs.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Perform RCA and resolve business-critical production issues.
Build scalable, highly available systems and secure RESTful APIs.
Share technical expertise and promote engineering best practices across global teams.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure system stability and performance.
What you'll bring:
5–9 years of experience designing and developing highly scalable applications and platform solutions.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, and SQL.
Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JAX-RS, JVM internals, concurrency, and multithreading.
Experience with frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux, and Node.js.

Hands-on experience building RESTful services, SOA-based solutions, and cloud-native applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Python.
Exposure to production support, including issue triage, troubleshooting, incident management, and resolution.
