Role Overview
PwC is hiring a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer within its Advisory and Emerging Technologies practice.
The role focuses on architecting, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable AWS DevOps solutions.
The position supports infrastructure automation, delivery pipelines, container orchestration, reliability, and observability.
Core Responsibilities
- Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning for compute, storage, networking, databases, and data services.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Manage Kubernetes deployment, scaling, and lifecycle operations.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Configure EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, VPC, and related AWS services.
- Provide infrastructure service endpoints and documentation.
- Manage reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure and application performance.
Automation and Observability
- Develop Python, Shell, or other scripting automation for operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring and observability with AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
