Job Summary
PwC is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable and secure DevOps solutions on AWS.
The role requires expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and modern DevOps practices.
The position includes work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, Route 53, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Architect and automate AWS infrastructure provisioning across compute, storage, networking, database, and data services.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Configure AWS services and provide appropriate infrastructure service endpoints and documentation.
- Maintain reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident management, and observability.
- Develop automation scripts and use cloud-native tools to improve operational efficiency and application performance.
- Use AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus for dashboards, alerts, troubleshooting, and system health insights.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on application integration and delivery.
- Perform performance tuning, cost optimization, security hardening, and architectural reviews.
Requirements
- Four to eight years of relevant experience is required.
- A BE, B.Tech, MBA, or MCA qualification is listed; Bachelor of Technology is specified as required in the education fields.
- Mandatory skills include AWS Cloud, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Kubernetes, Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, Linux, Prometheus, Grafana, and Python.
- PowerShell scripting, Groovy, Amazon SageMaker, and AWS Bedrock are preferred.
