Role overview
PwC Advisory is seeking a senior Java developer for business application consulting and technical implementation work.
The role covers analysis, implementation, training, support, and optimization of business applications for clients.
The position carries lead or architect-level engineering responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementations across backend, frontend, integrations, deployment, and production support readiness.
- Design secure, resilient, scalable, and high-performance cloud applications.
- Build Java and Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Develop React.js frontend interfaces with JavaScript or TypeScript and API-driven integration.
- Modernize monolithic applications into cloud-native platforms.
- Define technical approaches, estimate effort, guide teams, and own delivery quality.
- Mentor developers on design, coding standards, reviews, testing, performance, and production readiness.
- Deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes and coordinate with DevOps, platform, security, and QA teams.
- Drive CI/CD, configuration management, observability, and deployment governance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and reliability.
