Role overview
PwC Advisory is hiring a Senior Associate for financial services technology and core banking advisory work.
The role provides business application consulting across analysis, implementation, training, support, and operational efficiency improvement.
The position focuses on retail banking processes across deposits, lending, and payments.
Core responsibilities
- Own and optimize retail banking processes from discovery and design through rollout and continuous improvement.
- Map current-state processes for deposits, lending workflows, or payment journeys.
- Design future-state processes aligned with RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, NPCI, and other banking standards.
- Document BRD/FRD, BPMN maps, SOPs, SLAs, control frameworks, traceability, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with business, operations, risk, compliance, technology, and platform owners on functional solutioning and change requests.
- Plan UAT, create edge-case test scenarios, manage defects, and ensure production cutover readiness.
- Track turnaround time, first-time-right rate, error rates, straight-through processing, and payment success metrics.
- Support audits, remediation, reconciliation and settlement controls, risk checkpoints, training, and change adoption.
