In Room Dining Assistant Manager

Position overview

Core responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
• Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and first point of contact for fair-treatment and open-door processes.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide appreciative service.
• Maintain professional relationships, protect company assets and confidential information, and improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is required according to the source.

Schedule and workplace

• The schedule is full time.
• The role is based at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, and is not remote.
• The work includes extended standing, walking, lifting, reaching, stair use, and movement through confined or elevated spaces.
