Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with IFRS, record day to day transactions, and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns and Corporate Tax returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Process monthly payroll in compliance with UAE labour law and WPS requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor daily cash position, manage bank accounts, and maintain banking relationships.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, support AML/CFT compliance, and assist with audits.
- Provide financial analysis to support pricing, commissions, profitability, and commercial decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 5 years of hands on accounting experience
- 2+ years UAE experience
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting platforms (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) preferred

Role Overview
- The In House Accountant will manage the full cycle accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date books of accounts in line with IFRS.
- Record day to day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Manage the general ledger, journal entries, and month end closing procedures.
- Maintain fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and prepayment/accrual tracking.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Produce management reports highlighting financial performance, variances, and trends.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Assist in the preparation of audit files and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns and Corporate Tax returns.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor reconciliations.
- Process monthly payroll in compliance with UAE labour law and WPS requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Professional qualifications preferred: ACCA / CPA / CA / CMA (part qualified acceptable, fully qualified preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands on accounting experience
- 2+ years UAE experience (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, IFRS, payroll and WPS processes, bank reconciliations and multi entity accounting
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting platforms (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modelling basics)
- Familiarity with VAT filing on the FTA EmaraTax portal
- Experience with payroll and WPS systems
- Working knowledge of CRM or practice management tools (e.g., Zoho CRM) is a plus
