Role Overview
The Import and Export Manager role is based in Mumbai and supports global supply chain operations.
The role focuses on seamless import operations, compliance, customer satisfaction, and logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute import and export processes and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure SAP transactions are accurate and timely.
- Maintain zero non-compliance standards for customs brokers and transport service providers.
- Ensure service providers meet quality, safety, and business ethics requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and enforce SLAs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvement for effective logistics execution.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships across and outside dsm-firmenich India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an MBA in Shipping, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- More than 10 years of international or cross-border logistics experience.
- More than 5 years of people-management experience.
- Experience managing a team of at least 5 members.
- Working knowledge of SAP Shipping and Transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
