Role Overview
Support import, export, shipping, and international trade documentation operations in Dubai.
Work with documents, shipment coordination, and multiple internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, certificates, and other trade documentation.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, suppliers, and customers.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, shipping schedules, customs documents, and delivery information.
- Support customs clearance and ensure documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- Communicate about shipment status, documentation, and delivery requirements.
- Track shipments, update logistics systems, and prepare basic import-export reports.
- Identify documentation discrepancies and coordinate corrections to prevent shipment delays.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in import, export, logistics, shipping, or trade documentation is preferred.
- Good understanding of international trade procedures, shipping documentation, and customs processes.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP, or logistics management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and document-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
- Experience with UAE or GCC import-export procedures is an advantage.
