We are recruiting for an Identity & Data Security Engineer to join our Information Security Team . In this role, you will: Be the Council’s Subject Matter Expert and Lead for Microsoft Purview. Own the roadmap for the product and make recommendations on its future development and use. Monitoring and reporting on data governance effectiveness, policy compliance, and data security health. Supporting the organisational rollout of Purview features in structured phases and ensuring remediation of existing configurations. About You We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview including classification, labelling, DLP, Insider Risk and governance policies Excellent knowledge of Azure security concepts including role assignments, app registrations, managed identities, access governance, and authentication methods Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
