Description

  • At UAE hospitals, we are currently seeking compassionate and skilled ICU Nurses to join our hospitals.
  • As an ICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care and support to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing life saving interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document patients' conditions, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical exams
  • Administer medications, monitor IV lines, and perform necessary procedures and interventions
  • Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and other vital signs
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering questions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
  • Participate in patient care rounds and contribute to the overall coordination and delivery of care
  • Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in critical care nursing

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license and minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU Nurse
  • Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles, practices, and protocols
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision making skills in high pressure situations
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients and tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
