Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review ICT design documents, drawings, method statements, submittals, interface matrices, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate structured cabling, fiber backbone, LAN/WAN connectivity, network rooms, racks, switches, servers, wireless services, timing interfaces, and IP telephony.
• Coordinate integration with access control, CCTV, public address, voice, meteorological, BMS, fire alarm, UPS monitoring, and security platforms.
• Review compliance with client standards, aviation authority criteria, cybersecurity requirements, redundancy, maintainability, and 24/7 operational constraints.
• Review FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, integrated systems testing, cutover, failover, redundancy, and operational readiness procedures.
• Support inspections and verify installation quality, labeling, segregation, grounding, equipment placement, and as-built records.
• Track risks and interface gaps, issue technical comments, and follow corrective actions to closure.
• Review O&M manuals, SOPs, asset registers, maintenance requirements, spare parts, training plans, and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate with airport, ATC, cybersecurity, consultant, contractor, and authority stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, issue logs, and engineering recommendations.

ICT Systems in Scope

• Structured copper and fiber cabling, LAN/WAN switching, network cabinets, patching, and network architecture.
• ATCT data connectivity for operational systems and operator positions.
• IP telephony and voice and data interfaces supporting tower operations.
• Wireless services for approved operational or administrative areas.
• Server and telecom room fit-out interfaces, racks, UPS-fed ICT loads, environmental monitoring, and cable management.
• External ICT links for guard posts, security checkpoints, perimeter interfaces, parking, ancillary facilities, and inter-building communications.
• Integration touchpoints with security, ELV, and digital airport platforms.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Communications Engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant ICT engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in design review, site supervision, testing and commissioning, and handover of ICT systems.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber systems, IP networks, telecom rooms, redundancy, and interface management.
• Experience with active and passive network infrastructure, fiber optics, LAN/WAN architecture, rack layouts, patching, and network resilience.
• Knowledge of ICT installation practices, containment, grounding and bonding, room layouts, and equipment accommodation.
• Working knowledge of copper and fiber certification tools and network connectivity validation.
• Awareness of cybersecurity coordination for operational technology and airport systems.
• Ability to interpret specifications, standards, interface documents, risk registers, and testing protocols.
• Airport, aviation, or critical-facility experience is strongly preferred.
