Responsibilities
- Instruct beginners on basic skating techniques
- Deliver structured group lessons for skaters in Fundamentals Levels F1–F8
- Provide private lessons to beginner level children and adults
- Adapt teaching styles to suit a range of ages and learning styles
- Follow a set curriculum and ensure safe, fun, and goal driven sessions
- Assist with evaluations and level testing
- Communicate regularly with parents and skaters about progress
- Support during seasonal camps by coaching F1 F8 skaters
- Support beginner skaters during on ice activities, games, and fun drills
- Support in preparing skaters for showcases, galas and competitions
Requirements
- Preferably bachelor's degree or relevant training and qualification related to Ice Skating (ISU)
- At least 2 4 years proven relevant experience as a Skating Coach with a focus on both basic and competitive levels
- Strong technical knowledge of figure skating techniques, choreography, and competition rules
- Ability to work with skaters of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills

Job Overview
- The Ice Skating Coach is responsible for developing the fundamental skating skills of beginner and intermediate level skaters, primarily within levels F1–F8.
