Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor ice production machinery and refrigeration systems
- Start up, shut down, and adjust plant equipment as required
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper operation
- Monitor temperature, pressure, water quality, and production levels
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report major issues
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and inventory records
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Clean and sanitize ice production equipment and surrounding work areas
- Load, store, and transfer ice according to company procedures
- Monitor utility consumption, including electricity and water usage
- Assist during emergency situations and equipment breakdowns
Requirements
- Experience operating ice production machinery and refrigeration systems (implied)
