Position Summary
The Hygiene Officer coordinates food operations to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
The role advises on food handling, trains new hires and trainees, identifies operational risks, and supports regulatory product labeling.
Schedule and Position Type

- The position is classified as non-management.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or Culinary from an accredited university or college is preferred.
- Two to four years of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
Hygiene and Food Safety
- Supervise and coordinate food operations in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Advise on proper food handling practices and provide food hygiene training for new hires and trainees.
- Identify key areas of risk and take preventive remedial action.
- Provide technical advice on product labeling to fulfill government requirements.
