- We are seeking a Structural Engineer specializing in Hydropower Developments, Spillways, and Pumped Storage Facilities to join our team in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Key Responsibilities
- Support on engineering mandates related to the hydropower sector.
- Design hydraulic structures for hydroelectric and pumped storage facilities across all project phases, from conceptual studies through detailed engineering.
- Support the rehabilitation of hydroelectric developments, concrete dams, and spillways by conducting studies and preparing detailed engineering designs for existing infrastructure upgrades.
- Participate in project planning activities.
- Contribute to project cost estimating.
- Support tendering processes and bid evaluations.
- Provide technical support to project and construction teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design and coordination activities.
- Ensure the quality of structural engineering deliverables produced within the Hydropower and Dams team.
- Identify client needs and develop innovative technical solutions to meet project objectives.Required Qualifications
