HVAC Technician – Saudi National

Job Summary

Service and Maintenance Duties

• Complete assigned service and maintenance tasks within required timeframes while maintaining quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain timesheets, job cards, service records, maintenance records, and required reports.
• Communicate with customers about work progress, findings, outstanding issues, and recommended corrective actions.
• Inspect HVAC and air-conditioning units for efficient and reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate records.
• Repair, replace, adjust, and maintain defective HVAC components and control systems.
• Clean coils and blowers and inspect motors, belts, belt tension, and related components.

Safety and Field Operations

• Work independently when required and collaborate with colleagues as part of an integrated technical team.
• Identify hazards and implement controls to ensure safe working conditions.
• Escalate situations requiring guidance or additional support from a Supervisor or Manager.
• Safely rig and set up gantries and lifting arrangements for HVAC equipment, pumps, chillers, and other heavy equipment.
• Manage and organize machinery and tools, including pickup, delivery, usage, and inventory.
• Attend EH&S and technical training sessions and meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in air-conditioning and refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• Two to four years of relevant HVAC industry or field experience.
• A valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, customer orientation, teamwork, and basic computer and mobile application skills.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair according to industry practices and manufacturer guidelines.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices, MSDS/SDS requirements, and safe handling procedures.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment management, inspection and technical reporting, and quality practices.
• Knowledge of basic metal sheet work, electrical systems, carpentry, and Building Automation Controls.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices for HVAC equipment and related machinery.
• Minimum product knowledge includes DX and airside equipment and scroll chillers.

• Maintain a safety-first approach and comply with company EH&S policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations, applicable industry standards, and company quality requirements.
• Keep customer sites clean, safe, and orderly after completing work.
• Deliver professional workmanship and high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
