HVAC Technician - Saudi National

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC service, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities according to standard procedures.
• Inspect air-conditioning units, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and recommend corrective actions.
• Repair, replace, adjust, and maintain defective or damaged HVAC components and parts.
• Maintain accurate timesheets, job cards, service records, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with customers about work progress, outstanding issues, and recommendations.
• Identify hazards, implement controls, and follow EH&S policies and safe working practices.
• Safely rig and set up lifting arrangements for HVAC equipment, pumps, chillers, and other heavy equipment.
• Use computers, mobile devices, and relevant applications for work activities and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the HVAC industry or field.
• Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a strong team-player attitude.
• Basic computer and mobile application skills.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair according to industry practices and manufacturer guidelines.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices, MSDS/SDS, safe handling, and risk management.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment care and management.
• Ability to prepare and complete inspection and technical reports.
• Knowledge of quality management practices and applicable requirements.
• Basic knowledge of metal sheet work, electrical systems, carpentry, and Building Automation Controls.
• Knowledge of DX and airside equipment and scroll chillers.
