HVAC Technician - Saudi National

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC service, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities according to standard procedures.
• Inspect air-conditioning units, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair, replace, adjust, and maintain HVAC components.
• Maintain job cards, timesheets, service records, inspection reports, and job completion certificates.
• Communicate work progress and recommendations to customers and complete assigned work within required timeframes.
• Estimate labor, tools, equipment, and materials, and manage relevant tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Safely rig and set up lifting arrangements for HVAC equipment, pumps, chillers, and other heavy equipment.
• Identify hazards, implement controls, and follow EH&S, quality, manufacturer, and safe working procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in air-conditioning and refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant HVAC industry or field experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented, team-player attitude.
• Basic computer and mobile application skills.
• A valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair according to industry practices and manufacturer guidelines.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices, MSDS/SDS, safe handling, and hazard and risk management.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment management, inspection and technical reporting, and quality practices.
• Basic knowledge of metal sheet work, electrical systems, carpentry, and Building Automation Controls.
• Minimum product knowledge of DX and airside equipment and scroll chillers.

Safety and Quality

• Maintain a safety-first approach and identify and control risks before and during work.
• Comply with company EH&S, quality, and operational procedures and applicable industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service, inspection, and maintenance documentation and deliver professional workmanship.
