Role Overview
The HVAC Technician supports heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
The role supports ACCOM II systems and associated equipment across command, air traffic control, weather, air control squadron, and regional maintenance center operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems.
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhauls on systems and components.
- Conduct planning activities and facility surveys.
- Manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities.
- Support the identified ACCOM II systems and associated support equipment.
Requirements
- Qualified to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Able to perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhauls on HVAC/R systems and components.
- Able to conduct planning activities and facility surveys.
- Able to manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities.
