- Coordinate and perform inspections on HVAC systems and components
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment and systems
- Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems
- Track performance of routine and preventive maintenance
- Prepare written reports for documenting activities
- Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 5 years' journey level HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions
- Skilled in use of hand and power tools common to trade
- Ability to interpret codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

- Seeking an HVAC Technician Assessor for a position at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates and performs inspections on HVAC systems and components.
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment and systems and monitors repairs.
- Coordinates with HVAC Lead and/or Trade Shop Supervisor on completing projects and work orders efficiently.
- Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems.
- Tracks performance of routine and preventive maintenance.
- Prepares written reports for documenting activities and/or conveying information.
- Requests equipment and supplies to maintain correct inventory amounts.
- Responds to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least five (5) years' journey level HVAC experience.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Knowledge & Skills
- Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools common to trade.
- Ability to interpret and apply codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Must have knowledge of operation / installation of a variety of complete HVAC systems / equipment.
Travel and Security Clearance
- Travel: 100%, in deployed location.
- Security Clearance: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
