About the Role
Amber Contracting LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician for a full-time hybrid role in the UAE. The technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in interior fit-out projects, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including ducting, piping, controls, and related equipment in interior fit out projects
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot system issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and project timelines
- Document work performed, maintain service records, and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients as needed
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including split units, package units, chillers, and ventilation systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documents, and apply them accurately on site
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards, local building codes, and HVAC regulations in the United Arab Emirates
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and performance measurement
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering; trade license or professional certification is an advantage
- Previous experience in interior fit out or construction environments in the UAE or GCC region is preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is beneficial for site visits and field work
