Responsibilities
- Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds
- Train and mentor other engineers as necessary
Requirements
- Advanced ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proficiency in at least three of: air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, building management
- Ability to perform complex repairs on physical property, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration, pool heaters
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools

Position Summary
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests with little to no supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Carry equipment and identify shut off valves.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts.
Qualifications
- Advanced ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics for plumbing and HVAC.
- Above average engineering operations skills and strong mechanical ability.
- Proficiency in at least three categories and above average in three more from: air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, building management.
- Solid knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform complex repairs meeting company and code standards.
Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, plumbing, electrical equipment, air conditioners, HVAC, cosmetic items, etc.
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance.
- Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of MEP systems.
- Train and mentor other engineers.
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.

- Move, lift, carry up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders.
