About the Role
Nextech seeks an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems. The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency service with a company vehicle and paid travel.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
- Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after hours on call rotations.
- Accurately document all service details using company provided iPads.
- Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
- Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
- EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
- Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed
- May require a Journeyman's License in some states

Compensation
- USD $30.00/Hr. USD $35.00/Hr.
Qualifications

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28 32 feet
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces
- Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
- Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
- Must operate work related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
- Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
