Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site technician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The technician will service HVAC systems, chillers, freezers, and kitchen, bakery, and restaurant equipment at client locations.
Experienced technicians and entry-level candidates will work under guidance to learn company processes, equipment types, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and replace parts.
- Ensure proper system calibration and safe operation.
- Respond to service requests, maintain service records, and coordinate with supervisors and clients.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues using troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC and kitchen equipment installations and repairs.
- Experience or training in preventive maintenance for HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen machinery.
- Understanding of electricity, including safe handling of wiring, motors, and control panels.
- Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and safety standards for refrigerants and HVAC work; certification is preferred where applicable.
- Diploma, ITI, trade certificate, or relevant technical qualification in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical fields.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and cleanliness at job sites.
- Willingness to work across multiple client locations in Dubai and adapt to varying shift schedules.
- Prior HVAC or kitchen equipment servicing experience is advantageous; freshers with technical training are encouraged to apply.
