Responsibilities
- Designing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings
- Preparing technical drawings and performing calculations and equipment selections
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, clients, and contractors to ensure projects meet technical specifications, energy efficiency goals, and regulatory standards
- Conducting site visits and troubleshooting design related issues during project execution
- Ensuring project timelines are met efficiently
Requirements
- Proficiency in HVAC system design, heat load calculations, and equipment selection
- Experience with preparing technical drawings and layouts using software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, ducting, piping, and airflow principles
- Problem solving skills for troubleshooting design related issues on site
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and consultants
- Strong communication skills for effectively explaining technical concepts and requirements
- Understanding of energy efficiency standards and regulatory compliance within the UAE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Relevant experience in HVAC design and project execution; experience in the UAE market is a plus
