Role Overview
Lead HVAC and cleanroom design activities for pharmaceutical, API, and healthcare projects.
Coordinate design, engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for pharmaceutical and cleanroom projects.
- Perform heat-load, air-quantity, AHU-sizing, fresh-air, and pressure-cascade calculations.
- Develop and review HVAC, ducting, AHU, piping, and schematic layouts and equipment schedules.
- Prepare and review BOQs, technical specifications, and design documents.
- Develop HVAC zoning based on cleanroom classification, temperature, RH, ACH, and pressure differential requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with GMP, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and project-specific standards.
- Coordinate with architecture, process, electrical, plumbing, utility, and civil teams.
- Review technical offers, equipment datasheets, vendor drawings, and contractor submissions.
- Support project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and qualification.
- Review junior engineers' work, provide technical guidance, and identify cost-effective improvements.
Required Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6–10 years of relevant HVAC design experience.
