Human resources responsibilities

• Monitor and track employee relations issues through resolution and follow-up.
• Support management and leadership with handling and resolving human resources issues.
• Monitor hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and standards.
• Respond to questions and concerns about HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
• Disseminate information about employee relations, employee activities, personnel policies, and programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
• Assist with logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.

General and guest-service duties

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, and record messages.
• Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.
