About the Role

  • The HR Operations Executive will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant HR processes across the employee lifecycle. You will execute HR operations with accuracy and empathy while driving automation, analytics, and process improvements.

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage end to end onboarding and offboarding: offer letters, background checks, documentation, and induction coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee data in Brightedge’s HRIS systems.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of employee confirmations, transfers, and exits.
  • Continuously refine HR processes to ensure scalability and efficiency as the organization grows.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Prepare, validate, and process monthly payroll inputs (attendance, variable pay, new joiners, exits, etc.).
  • Work with Finance and external partners to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
  • Administer employee benefits such as insurance, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, Gratuity).
  • Support employees with payroll and tax related queries.

HR Systems, Analytics & Automation

  • Manage HR systems (e.g., Keka / Zoho People / GreytHR) and ensure data integrity.
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline HR workflows and reduce manual intervention.
  • Generate periodic HR dashboards and insights for leadership decision making.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure all HR operations align with local labor laws and internal compliance requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for audits, inspections, or filings.
  • Assist in updating and communicating HR policies across teams.

Employee Experience & Support

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee queries related to HR processes or systems.
  • Support engagement and recognition initiatives across teams.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to build a positive, inclusive, and performance oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  • MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles, preferably in a startup or tech driven company.
  • Proficiency with HRIS / HRMS tools (e.g., Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People, etc.).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Detail oriented with a process first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Self starter attitude with ownership and bias for action.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a high growth performance marketing ecosystem.
  • Exposure to modern HR systems, analytics, and automation.
