Position Summary

  • The Human Resources Manager serves as both a strategic advisor and hands on business partner, focused on building and sustaining a high performing workforce.
  • This role drives succession planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives while partnering closely with regional leadership.
  • The HR Manager also supports benefits administration and payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and supports recruiting efforts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage succession planning strategies to ensure manager continuity and long term organizational success.
  • Identify high potential employees and partner with leaders on development plans and career pathways.
  • Lead employee feedback initiatives, including surveys and action planning.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies that attract the best talent in the marketplace.
  • Analyze staffing trends in our markets and proactively address turnover risks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns, complaints, and conflicts in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Support performance management, corrective action, and termination processes.
  • Assist with benefits in regards to HRIS, year end and workers compensation.
  • Participate in annual open enrollment and employee education efforts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and benefits administration.
  • Proven experience in succession planning, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll practices, and HR best practices.
  • Ability to travel domestically 20 30%.
  • Excellent Excel, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Requires ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
  • HR certification (SHRM CP/SHRM SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred.
