Role Description
- This is a full time remote Founder role responsible for defining and driving EduFund’s vision, strategy, and long term growth.
- The Founder will oversee product direction, lead fundraising and investor relations, and build strategic partnerships with financial institutions, schools, and other ecosystem players.
- Day to day responsibilities include setting business goals, managing key metrics, guiding product and marketing priorities, and making high impact decisions across operations, compliance, and customer experience.
- The role involves hiring, mentoring, and managing a multidisciplinary team, representing the company publicly, and ensuring strong alignment with EduFund’s mission to make education more financially accessible.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience building and leading teams, setting strategic direction, and driving execution in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
- Business and financial acumen, such as familiarity with investment products, financial planning, budgeting, and revenue growth strategies in fintech or related sectors.
- Product and technology understanding, including the ability to translate user needs into product features, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and manage digital product lifecycles.
- Fundraising, stakeholder, and partnership skills, including experience with investors, financial institutions, and other strategic partners, as well as strong negotiation and relationship building abilities.
- Go to market and marketing capabilities, such as defining target segments, shaping brand positioning, and overseeing digital and community driven growth initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, inspire teams, and represent the organization to external stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills, comfort with ambiguity, and resilience in fast changing, high growth environments.
- Background in finance, business, economics, technology, or a related field; prior experience in fintech, education finance, or consumer apps is highly beneficial.
