The Human Resources Generalist oversees the day-to-day HR operations for the New York Yankees' part-time, game day and seasonal workforce, serving as a key resource for employees and managers in areas including onboarding, employee relations, labor relations, timekeeping, scheduling, and workforce administration. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish), collaborative, professional, solutions-orientated, and have a strong foundation in developing and administering HR best practices in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner for all part-time, game day and seasonal staff, delivering comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate and administer onboarding processes, including new hire documentation, background screening, orientation and employment compliance requirements.
- Manage employee relations matters by partnering with managers and employees to investigate and address workplace concerns, interpret and apply policies, provide coaching, and administer corrective action when appropriate.
- Lead offboarding activities, including separations, exit interviews, termination documentation, unemployment claims management, and compliance with applicable employment laws and company policy.
- Oversee workforce administration processes, including scheduling, time and attendance tracking, and payroll-related inquiries.
