Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle onboarding, including new hire documentation, trainings and integration into the company.
• Administer and maintain compliance with E-Verify and employment eligibility requirements.
• Process and review payroll for accuracy maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
• Manage multi-state payroll taxes.
• Coordinate with finance and third-party vendors to ensure timely tax filings.
• Work with broker to manage benefit programs including health, dental, vision.
• Administer ACA related tasks, which include preparation and distribution of 1095-C forms.
• Oversee 401(k) plan administration, this includes enrollment, contribution and compliance testing.
• Administer all leaves including FMLA, SDBL.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims.
• Respond to unemployment claims in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review, update and implement company policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Work directly with executive team to implement best practices for company.

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources management with previous experience in HR Program Development, employee relations, and performance management.
• Knowledge of employment law including FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, labor contracts, and workers' compensation procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Paycom experience is a plus.

Salary: $70,000 - $80-000 About Us
