Skinny Genie is a Dubai-based certified gluten-free bakery and free-from food brand based in Al Quoz.
We hold Dubai Municipality A Gold Grade, Coeliac UK, Vegan Australia, and Halal certifications, with a product range spanning breads, pastries, desserts, keto, vegan, and more — distributed across the UAE.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Coordinator will be central to day-to-day people operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR compliance across our Al Quoz bakery and retail teams.
The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and well-versed in UAE labour law.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, CV screening, interview coordination, and offer letters
- Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new joiners, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and system setup
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Handle preparation and management of employment contracts, NOCs, salary certificates, and other HR documents
- Process visa applications, medical insurance enrolments, and Emirates ID registrations in accordance with UAE regulations
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, guiding staff on HR policies and procedures
- Support the planning and execution of team engagement activities, company events, and culture initiatives
- Assist in handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters with professionalism and confidentiality
- Support the performance appraisal cycle — coordinating timelines, collecting forms, and tracking completion
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal company HR policies at all times
- Liaise with government authorities and PRO services for visa and labour-related matters
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience within the UAE
- Solid grasp of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE, GDRFA & Tasheel portals · Degree in HR or Business · Proficient in MS Office & HRIS systems · Strong English communication
