Role Overview
Hands-on Legal, HR and Government Relations Manager supporting a private school group in Jeddah.
The role covers legal affairs, HR operations, employee relations, government relations, regulatory compliance and official representation.
Legal Affairs
- Represent the school before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Coordinate with external law firms and provide guidance on labor, employment, regulatory and operational matters.
- Draft and review legal notices, warnings, terminations and settlements.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi laws and regulations.
Government Relations
- Manage transactions through Qiwa, MHRSD, Jawazat, GOSI, MOE, MISA and other government platforms.
- Execute government services, renewals, registrations and approvals.
- Represent the school before the Ministry of Education and relevant authorities.
Contracts and Employee Affairs
- Draft, issue, renew, amend and terminate employment contracts and update them on official platforms.
- Manage employee contractual matters, documentation, requests, onboarding and offboarding.
Recruitment and Compliance
- Support recruitment and new-hire formalities with school leadership.
- Manage Saudization, sponsorship transfers, work permits, Iqama renewals and exit-reentry visas.
- Manage final settlements, clearances and End-of-Service Benefits.
Performance and Administration
- Support performance reviews, monitor attendance and prepare disciplinary documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and salary runs and maintain accurate payroll data.
- Manage medical and company insurance updates and confidential employee, contract, legal and HR records.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, employment regulations, government compliance and HR-related legal procedures.
- Proven experience with named Saudi government platforms and legal, HR, government relations and employment contract management.
- Excellent Arabic drafting and communication skills; good English communication is preferred.
- Education or private school sector experience is advantageous.

- Strong legal and regulatory judgment, confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, time management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems and handle sensitive legal, HR and government matters.
- Strong execution and ownership from advice through completion.
