JOTUN is looking for a candidate to join their MEIA Graduate Program as an HSEQ Specialist. The role involves promoting a strong Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) culture, supporting compliance with legal and company standards, and contributing to risk management initiatives. Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve HSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations
- Maintain HSEQ and ISO documentation
- Deliver HSEQ inductions and awareness training to employees, contractors, and visitors
- Collaborate closely with Operations and key stakeholders to support Permit to Work processes
- Manage high-risk activities and drive continuous improvement in HSEQ performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH or OSHA certification is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
