Role Overview

Security and HSE Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols and surveillance across buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones.
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems.
• Identify, assess, and document health, safety, and security hazards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and Qatar labor law requirements.
• Respond to breaches, emergencies, and safety incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Maintain security, inspection, and maintenance records.
• Provide security briefings and HSE training.
• Collaborate on safety and security initiatives.
• Monitor PPE use and maintenance.
• Manage visitor access and visitor logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Officer, HSE Officer, or similar role in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with Qatar labor laws and local HSE compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in security systems, access control, and CCTV monitoring.
• Analytical, risk assessment, communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions during emergencies.
• Physical fitness for regular patrols and inspections.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols.
• First aid or CPR certification, security clearance experience, leadership experience, and conflict resolution skills are preferred.
